A friend song that sounds like your friendship
Generic birthday songs say "dear friend". This one says their name, roasts the way they are always 20 minutes late, and still ends on why you love them.
Use one photo of you and send it to them, or put two photos in the Hotel Lobby booth and rap it together. Funny works best for friends; Sweet if it's a big year.
What to put in a friend's birthday song
Their famous habit
Always late, phone on 1%, 47 open tabs, the outfit change before every plan.
A trip or a night out
The road trip, the concert you snuck into, the karaoke song they always pick.
How long you've been friends
"Ten years since the dorm" lands better than any generic line.
One honest line
Funny songs hit harder when the last line is real: who they are to you.
Two example songs for a friend
Happy birthday, Maya, queen of "on my way",
Twenty minutes late since the very first day,
Phone on one percent, forty tabs still on,
Borrowed my hoodie, and the hoodie is gone,
But you pick up at three when the night gets long,
Happy birthday, Maya, this one's your song.
Happy birthday, Chris, it's been ten years strong,
From the dorm room floor to the same old song,
You drove four hours when my world fell through,
Every big day I've had, I had it with you,
So here's to the laughs and the plans we keep,
Happy birthday, Chris, my friend for keeps.
How it works
1. Their name and your jokes
Type their name, pick Sweet, Funny or Hype, and add two or three things only you would know. Their age is optional.
2. Read the song
AI writes six rhyming lines with their name in the first one. Rewrite it for free or edit any word.
3. Your photo raps it
Your photo raps it to them — or add their photo too (with their OK) and rap it together in the orange Hotel Lobby booth. For one photo, pick a '90s West Coast street, an '80s block party or a trap night. About 3 minutes; free 4-second preview first.

AI rap video FAQ
Can my friend and I both be in the video?+
Yes. Pick Hotel Lobby and add two photos — yours and theirs (with their OK). The first half of the song is you, the second half is them.
Funny or sweet for a friend?+
Funny for most friends: their habits, played for laughs, with a warm last line. Sweet for a milestone birthday or a long-distance friend.
Will it really sing their name?+
Yes. The first line always starts "Happy birthday" and their name, so even the free 4-second preview carries it.
How do I send it?+
Download the MP4 for WhatsApp, Instagram or TikTok, or make it a gift link that opens with a birthday cover and your message.
